The best thing I like about that place is shopping traditional stuff at bargain prices. You get all local handicrafts, fashion jewellery, Chaniya cholis in all possible bright colours and for all age groups, bedsheets, mats, table spreads etc at extremely reasonable prices. You need to bargain hard and if you are good at it yo! the days made.
There are number of rides in the chitty chitty bang area for kids. Camel ride, horse rise, goat ride etc are also there for children entertainment.
The markets open only in evening after 6 and the best time to visit is 15-20 days before navratri festival.
