Super Luxury sells in Ahmedabad
For some it doesn’t matter that crude prices are within kissing distance of $150 per barrel. Or inflation is inching close to 12%, the Sensex is plunging and home loans are shooting through the roof.
This is why when a nine-bungalow scheme came up for grabs in the Thaltej-Shilaj belt for an eye-popping Rs 4.75 crore each, it was lapped up in just a week’s time.
It’s also the reason why realtor Utkarsh Shah is gearing up to launch by-invitation-only super-luxury apartments of around 7,000 sq ft each for a whopping Rs 3 crore price-tag. The dozen flats will have individual swimming pools and gardens.
Yes, at a time when most people are feeling the pinch in their pockets and the property markets are seeing a slump, super-luxury realty is only going up.
For the money-bags, no price is too high to sport the exclusivity tag. That’s why Shekhar Patel is quite gung-ho about his bungalow scheme for around Rs 2.5 crore each. There will be one parking lot for each bedroom, besides individual swimming pools.
Natubhai Patel, who is putting up a 12-bungalow exclusive scheme, says: “There is a niche segment that remains untouched by such concerns like inflation or stock markets.”
These bungalows will have built-in elevators.
“For the select client with deep pockets, money is not the issue. The only criterion is a good quality product.
Exclusive offerings are selling like hot cakes due to good demand,” adds Utkarsh Shah.
